NEW BEGINNINGS | How I View…..

 

I am participating in the Clickin Moms "How I View...." Challenge with 12 amazing photographers. Each month, I have a different theme that each photographer will photograph throughout the month and post at the beginning of the next month. The theme for this month is..... "New Beginnings".

I had so many ideas in my head for this theme. So many that I think I was in analysis-paralysis. I figure why not start from the beginning and work my way down until all my pics were up. So first up,.....

Our Wedding

This year is the beginning of my new beginning.  My wedding is quickly approaching and the smaller logistics are still in the works. One of the items that I am still working on is the Bridal Brunch before the BIG DAY!!! I saw this great table and it inspired me so much, I just had to take a picture.

Now, I’m using this as inspiration and creating something using my colors and my accent pieces.

Shutter Control Challenge

Now that I have committed to growing my photography skills,... I have signed up for a few projects/challenges.  Crazy, I know. I hope that my new found focus will help me grow as a photographer.  I hear all the time, ...."do you want to become a professional?"  The answer is "No".  I'm not interested in becoming a professional.  I'm interested in growing in my love for photography.  I want to capture pictures of my family and capture memories of the people who matter to me most. 

So, to make it happen and focus on learning this new skill.... I have signed up for the following projects.....

One Word Project

As I'm typing this post, I'm rethinking doing the 365.  I want to do it but will I be successful??  Maybe I should take it in chunks.  Starting with the first quarter and go from there.  Hmmm.  Let's see.

Introducing "Camera Shy Chronicles"

I can't believe I've decided to create a blog capturing my life's muses through my lovely DSLR. I've been contemplating doing this for a while. Initially, I decided to merge everything into one blog but decided that I wanted to keep them separate and focused.

I am doing Project 52 and hope to expand my photography experience along the way. I hope to use this site as my own personal journal to track my growth and experiences.
